Another pilot was set up at the warehouse facility in the PRC of a Hong Kong garment manufacturer for the inventory management application. When the fabric arrived at the warehouse, users updated the inventory and associate an RFID tag with each roll of fabric by the handheld RFID devices. Besides, the storage location of the fabric could be recorded when the RFID tags representing the shelf were read by the handheld device. To check out the fabric from the warehouse, users could just read the RFID tags attached on the fabric to update the inventory.
